The Ministry of transport in Slovakia has announced the closing of Sliac airport for reconstruction and will reopen in 2023 to welcome F-16 fighters. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, Sliac airport will resume civil flights after the reconstruction of the airport to protect tourism in central Slovakia.
